Lior Samuelson has been the Cyren chairman since early 2011 and was named CEO in November 2013. He is the founder and managing partner of Mercator Capital, a merchant bank specializing in advising and investing in the technology and telecom sectors. Lior has served as the chairman of Deltathree, president and CEO of PricewaterhouseCoopers Securities, as well as a managing partner with KPMG and holding senior management position at Booz, Allen & Hamilton. He earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in economics from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.

Hila Karah is the former CIO of Eurotrust Ltd. and is an investor in several high-tech, bio-tech and Internet companies. Prior to Eurotrust, she served as a partner financial analyst at Perceptive Life Sciences Ltd., a New York-based hedge fund, and was a research analyst at Oracle Partners Ltd., a health care-focused hedge fund based in Connecticut. Ms. Karah is currently a Director and member of the audit and compensation committees at Intec Pharma (Nasdaq: INTC), and Director and member of the compensation committee at DarioHealth (Nasdaq: DRIO). Ms. Karah holds a B.A. in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley, and has studied at the UCB-UCSF JMP.

Aviv Raiz has served as a director on the Cyren board since December 2005, bringing more than 20 years of foreign exchange market and private equity investing experience. He is a founder and president of Eurotrust Ltd. and has been a private equity investor in several high-tech, bio-tech, and Internet companies for the last 10 years. Aviv Raiz received his bachelor's degree in economics and political science as well as an MBA in finance, from Tel Aviv University.

James Hamilton has more than 25 years of leadership experience in senior executive roles across many highly successful high-tech companies. He brings proven success at building and leading high-potential, high growth companies from startup to IPO and often through acquisition. James was the CEO of Tipping Point, the renowned market leader in Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS). James was also president of Click Security, and president of Efficient Networks, which also achieved a highly successful IPO and was later acquired by Siemens. He has also held various senior sales roles with multiple companies; most recently as SVP of worldwide sales and field operations at Cyan, Inc.. James is also the president of Valletta Capital, LLC and is active in multiple venture capital, corporate, and charitable boards.

Todd Thomson is chairman of Dynasty Financial Partners, as well as the founder and CEO of Headwaters Capital. He served in top management positions at Citigroup, including CFO of the Company and CEO of the Global Wealth Management division. Prior to joining Citigroup, Todd Thomson held senior executive positions at GE Capital, Barents Group and Bain & Co. He is also a board member of Cordia Bancorp and Bank of Virginia as well as chairman of the Wharton Leadership Advisory Board. Todd Thomson received his MBA, with Distinction, from the Wharton School of Business and his bachelor's degree in economics from Davidson College.

David Earhart is the President of Data Protection and Endpoint Management at Quest Software, which was spun out of Dell Software and is backed by Francisco Partners and Elliott Management.  David previously served as the Chief Executive Officer at Core Security, responsible for corporate strategy and execution across all business functions. Previously, David was SVP of Worldwide Field Operations for Damballa, a leading provider of advanced threat protection. In this role, he was responsible for record, triple-digit growth. Before this, David was SVP of Security (IAM) Field Operations at CA Technologies, where his team delivered 300% growth in the security business. Prior to that, David held leadership and executive positions at BMC Software and venture-backed companies within the sales, support and services functions. He holds a B.B.A. in Finance from Texas Tech University.

John Becker has more than 30 years of security and technology industry experience and a strong track record of growing highly successful technology companies. In addition to serving on numerous boards, he was previously Chief Executive Officer of Sourcefire, ScienceLogic, Approva Corporation, Cybertrust and AXENT Technologies. He spent the early part of his career in leadership roles at Marriott International and MCI Corporation. John joined the Cyren board in April 2017.

Cary Davis is a Managing Director at Warburg Pincus, which he joined in 1994, and focuses on investments in the software and financial technology sectors. He also serves on the boards of several private companies. Prior to joining Warburg Pincus, Cary was Executive Assistant to Michael Dell at Dell Computer and a consultant at McKinsey & Company. Cary received a B.A. in economics from Yale University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. Cary joined the Cyren board in November 2017.
Brian Chang is a Principal at Warburg Pincus, which he joined in 2005 and returned in 2009. Brian focuses on investments in the technology, software and financial technology sectors. He currently serves on the board of several private companies. Prior to joining Warburg Pincus, Brian worked at Merrill Lynch focusing on corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions transactions. Brian received a B.S. with Distinction in electrical engineering from Stanford University and an M.B.A. from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business. Brian joined the Cyren board in November 2017.

Lauren Zletz is a Vice President at Warburg Pincus, which she joined in 2015. Lauren focuses on investments in the technology, software, and internet sectors, and currently serves on the boards of several companies. Prior to joining Warburg Pincus, Lauren worked in private equity at Thomas H. Lee Partners, and investment banking at Greenhill & Company. Lauren received an A.B. in Social Studies from Harvard College and an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Lauren joined the Cyren board in May 2018.
